Exhibiting Artists:

Betty Rivard is an award-winning fine art landscape photographer. Betty’s work captures timeless beauty with an eye for individuality and classic style. A 2004 West Virginia Fellowship in Photography recipient, she also edited the book New Deal Photographs of West Virginia – 1934-1943, which features historic imagery alongside her insightful essay on Eleanor Roosevelt’s involvement with the state.

Donna Vankovich-Powers was born in Logan County, West Virginia. Donna brings decades of art education and coastal New England influences to her colorful and imaginative works. Her pieces explore themes of transformation, reincarnation, and alternate realities, always with an abundance of vibrant color.

Kim Boley is a Huntington local. Kim specializes in weaving, an art form she learned from her grandmother, along with beaded jewelry and light catchers. She is passionate about upcycling and repurposing objects, creating unique painted and decorated furniture pieces. Kim co-owns Grounded Earth Collective, a vibrant shop in Huntington’s Central City Historic District that offers workshops, events, and a curated collection of art, vintage goods, crystals, and more.

Jon D. Smith is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired steelworker. Jon is a woodcarver with 40 years of experience. His work reflects his rich personal history and dedication to craftsmanship.

Christina “Chrissy” Davis is a Huntington native as well. Chrissy creates vibrant tie-dyed fabrics, quilts, and beadwork that breathe new life into old materials. Known for upcycling old windows into colorful “stained glass” hangings, she also crafts beaded jewelry and light catchers from her home studio. Her work is featured locally at art markets and consigned at Grounded Earth Collective.

Lydia Ziolkowski Azzarone is an artist from Northern Nevada who now lives outside of Huntington, West Virginia. Her works are inspired by nature, fashion, and femininity. She primarily works with acrylic paint,  printmaking, collage, papier-mache, and digital art. Lydia graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a BA in Art and Art Education. She works full-time as a high school art instructor. She actively participates in local art shows and virtual art contests and engages with various online art communities.
