Village Mercantile: Our Next Big Goal
Village Mercantile is Central City's next chapter: a community marketplace and gathering space built by and for West Huntington. Backed by a fully realized plan from RenewAll, Tipping Point Development, and Edward Tucker Architects, it will bring diverse food vendors, small local retail, safe and walkable green space, and event and festival venues to the heart of the neighborhood, with youth programming and modern amenities woven into the district's historic character.
Status: Concept & planning complete. Now building the partnerships and investment to bring it to life.
RenewAll is catalyzing the economic development of Huntington through building new spaces and creating experiences that celebrate our unique culture. For decades, West Huntington has faced generational poverty, low homeownership, high vacancy, and substandard rental housing, and we're working to change that with a long-term plan for responsible growth that keeps this neighborhood affordable and full of opportunity for the people who call it home.
