Chrysalis Grand Opening Celebration at RenewAll’s Pop-Up West

Last Updated 8/19/2026

RenewAll, Inc. is excited to announce the grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting of Chrysalis: A Creative Reuse Pop-Up, happening on Sunday, August 30th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at RenewAll’s Pop-Up West Space, located at 725 W. 14th Street, in Huntington’s Historic Central City District.
Chrysalis is a temporary gathering space with events in Central City for creative reuse, community building, and upcycling workshops. The lead behind Chrysalis, Bay Epperly, is a Huntington creative and local leader for regional circular economy. “The two things most important to me in my personal and professional life are community and the impact we have on the environment,” said Epperly. “I am incredibly passionate about creating third spaces where people can express their creativity, learn a new skill, and help divert materials and items from landfills through reuse, upcycling, and repair,” Epperly added.

Chrysalis will also welcome Xena Bunton, a Huntington photographer who owns Vend and Snap, to join the pop-up to lead creative events for the community. She will host studio hours, a Vinyl Paint and Picnic under the gazebo, a Couple’s iPhone Photo Bootcamp, and a Little Lens Explorer Workshop.

“Vend and Snap started with photography, but my vision has always been bigger than taking pictures - it’s about bringing people together through creativity,” Bunton said. “I want to create spaces where everyone, from kids discovering photography to couples learning something new together, feels invited to make, explore, and be part of a community,” Bunton added.

The pop-up shop will be active with events and workshops throughout September. Chrysalis will host an Eco-Swap, Four Fixer Mixers, a two-day Thrift Market, and a Scrap & Yap. You can learn more about the events and view the pop-up’s full schedule on its social media pages.
