#MuseumMonday: Heiners Door Handles

#HappyMonday RenewAll fans! For this week's #MuseumMonday, we want to highlight these rare Heiner's Bakery door handles for today's #artifactfeature. Heiner's Bakery, which opened in 1905 and still operates to this day, has used slogans over the years such as "Buy Heiner's, it's Fresher," as seen on one of the door handles. These door handles are dated around the 1950s and were in the bakery building. They were salvaged and replaced in the 80s, and are now on display in our Museum. 

Visit the Central City Museum any weekday from 11AM-5PM, and Saturday from 10AM-5PM, Sunday from 12PM-4PM. The Museum is located at the Village Antique Mall at 610 W. 14th Street, Huntington, WV.
