When Extraordinary meets Ordinary: Interview with Jade and Josh Painter, owners of Pale Horse Emporium

Last Updated 7/11/2024

Jade and Josh Painter, co-owners of Pale Horse Emporium, certainly add the extra in extraordinary with her fun and unique creations! Experience the unknown by visiting their business booth at West Arts Fest, Thursday, July 18th from 4-7PM. Pale Horse Emporium is a traveling custom odd art, oddities, occult, and paranormal store, that has become a haven for enthusiasts of the weird and creepy. Originally an occult-themed clothing line, it quickly expanded to offer macabre curiosities and mystical artifacts, standing out at expos across the country. Visitors are drawn to its eclectic assortment, including real Oddities and odd antiques, haunting dolls, Ether Creatures, skin ouija boards, handmade occult-themed crafts, and much much more.
The Emporium's eerie and enchanting atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone intrigued by the supernatural, with each display curated to tell a story and invite exploration into the bizarre and mysterious. Jade and Josh will be in attendance at the July 18th art walk in Central City, also known as West Arts Fest, selling their unique items.
When asked what inspired them to join our event, Jade said it aligned with the business’s mission to bring the extraordinary to the everyday world. “The fest celebrates creativity, uniqueness, and community, values that resonate deeply with what we do at Pale Horse Emporium,” she said. “It's an exciting opportunity to share our eclectic collection of art, occult items, and haunted objects with a broader audience.
RenewAll has a goal to provide local artists with the ability to display and sell their art in the Central City community. When asked what public events meant for Pale Horse Emporium, Jade said, “They provide a unique opportunity to connect with our audience face-to-face, share our passion for oddities and the occult, and create memorable experiences. As a traveling vendor and museum, these events allow us to showcase our unique collection in different locations, reaching new customers and building a community of like-minded individuals.”
When people experience Pale Horse Emporium at the West Arts Fest on July 18th, Jade and Josh hope they will enjoy the intriguing stories behind their items, the artistry of their weird and wonderful pieces, and the chance to explore the mysterious and unknown. “We aim to create an immersive experience that sparks curiosity and invites people to see the world from a different perspective,” Jade added.
