Bob Mackie Top Found at Village Antiques & Art

Last Updated 9/17/2026

"A woman who wears my clothes is not afraid to be noticed.” - Bob Mackie

Presenting this women’s blouse to honor the life and legacy of designer Bob Mackie. This beautiful piece is part of the Bob Mackie Wearable Art collection. Bob Mackie was a famed fashion designer and couturier, best known for dressing celebrities like Carol Butnett, Dolly Parton, Cher, Tina Turner, and Elton John. He also designed a selection of Barbie dolls in partnership with Mattel. His signature style relied heavily on heavy hand-beading, rhinestones, feathers, and dramatic sequins. The world has definitely lost some of its sparkle with his passing!
