Gallery 610 Celebrates Six Years with "Anything Goes"
Six years ago, Gallery 610 opened its doors inside Village Antiques & Art at 610 W. 14th Street in Huntington's Central City Historic District. What began as a dedicated space for local artists to show and sell their work has grown into one of the neighborhood's most beloved creative institutions.
"It's very gratifying to have seen the growth over the past six years and the increase of creative local talent who have been on this journey with us," said Denise Poole, Social Enterprise Hub Manager at RenewAll. "The impact and footprint Gallery 610 has made within our community is significant, and I am excited about expanding the gallery space to embrace additional artists and art mediums. This project is a passion of mine, and I love experiencing the support for the arts in Central City and the Huntington region."
That expansion is already underway. Gallery 610 is adding more space for artists and programming as part of RenewAll's broader vision for the arts and creative economy in Central City.
To mark the milestone, Gallery 610 is presenting "Anything Goes" -- a group exhibit running June 2 through July 11, 2026. The show brings together more than 30 artists and over 50 pieces, drawing from the full roster of talent that has called the gallery home over the past six years. Artists were invited to submit work of their choosing, making this one of the most eclectic and personal exhibits the gallery has hosted.
The full list of participating artists includes Jesse Thornton, A.D. Maynard, Ann Grimes, Larry Sumpter, Laura Moul, Michelle Afford-Tyler, Kim Boley, Erica Watson, Mathew Sizemore, Betty Rivard, Samantha Taylor, Euthimia (Efi) Gianna, Lydia Ziolkowski Azzarone, Kathryn Thompson, Sydney Stewart, William (Bill) Hill, Trevor Wayne, Pamela Murphy, Barb Lavalley Benton, Ella Rose McComas, Diane Arthur, Hannah Fitzgerald, Abby Sowards, Robby Moore, Keyamo Onoge, Ron Grimes, Kelly Richardson, Beth Leibig, Alexei Mei Black, Aidan Christian, Chrissy Davis, Ryan Denvir, and Kimberly Goulds.
