From Murals to Pop-Ups: Get to Know Artist Nichole Westfall

Last Updated 10/13/2025

If you’ve walked past a colorful mural in West Virginia, chances are you’ve seen the work of Nichole Westfall. A proud West Virginian, Nichole has built her career around what she calls the Decorative Arts: bright, bold designs that embrace joy and celebrate everyday beauty. On October 11th, Nichole launched her Pop-Up Shop, Aigo, at the RenewAll Pop-Up West Space.

Nichole’s journey to art wasn’t a straight path. From childhood, she was always drawing, crafting, and exploring with curiosity. Over the years, she’s tried her hand at everything from tattoos and window displays to portraits, clothing alterations, and marketing. Each experience gave her a new way to create, and eventually, she found her calling in mural painting. Today, her large-scale public artworks can be found across the state, transforming walls into places of community connection.

Two years ago, Nichole moved to Huntington and quickly found herself drawn to Central City. You can often find her on 14th Street, discovering trinkets, taxidermy, old furniture, artisan bread, honey, and cheese. These small treasures, objects with stories and care, fuel her creativity and spark the colorful designs she’s known for.

This fall, Nichole brings her next project to Central City: Aigo, a pop-up shop filled with fine art prints, original works, cards, and handmade gifts. More than a store, Aigo is an immersive space where the beauty of imperfection, color, and wonder come together.

Nichole shared, “I look forward to being surrounded by the places and objects that inspire me most, and by a community that finds beauty there.”

RenewAll is honored to welcome Nichole as the next participant in Pop-Up West, a program that gives emerging entrepreneurs the chance to grow their ideas and connect with new audiences in Central City. Her hours for the shop are: Wednesday – Friday: 12pm – 6pm • Saturday: 11am – 2pm
